REQUIREMENTS
This product contains two versions of Connor’s go-to writing template for Modern Prog. It contains a “lite” version, which uses no 3rd party plugins, and only uses essential VSTs and amp sims. The “full” version, contains an up-to-date bespoke mix, using all of Connor’s favourite 3rd party plugins. Both Logic Pro X templates are included in the zip download.

WHY DIDN’T MY P5 DRUMS LOAD?
Please ensure you have updated your Kontakt Player to version 8, update 8.10.0 or newer. Close and reopen the Logic template, now the drums should load.
The one shot simply reinforces the low end and crack of the main P5 snare, the best way to use it is to first finish your main drum MIDI. Then, copy the MIDI region and paste it (starting from the same bar) onto the Snare one shot track. From there, delete all the other drum hits (this will sound weird!), and only have the snare MIDI remaining. This should be sitting just above C1. Now, highlight all of the midi and raise it to C3 (it should say “Root Key” on the piano roll). Depending on taste, you can remove and delete ghost notes and just have the main snare hits reinforced. It’s up to you!

Open up the Q-Sampler, set the plugin to ONE SHOT mode. Next to “RECORDER”, open up Finder and locate the snare one shot in your Template download.
